Last week I got to have one of the most memorable experiences of my life; helping a friend deliver her first baby! I wasn't even supposed to be in the room when he was born, but thanks to a chain of events that happened very quickly, I was anyway. I got to see the stages of a normal delivery, and when he decided he didn't want to come out that way, I watched the doctor do a C-Section. While my role was one that involved more coaching than anything else, it was still quite intense and something that I'm very glad I got to do. So, with the rest of us, please welcome into the world Mr. Joshua Kirenga Kalisa, one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen or had the priveledge to work with!
